A very modern explorer: Much of my work describes a fascination with scientific illustration, the antiquarian imagination and the blurring between the real and the obviously not true. It is inspired by my own worldwide travels, and personalised to suit. I currently live beyond the borders of the Roman Empire with my wife and son in Newcastle upon Tyne.
